Nigerian businessman and socialite, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has gifted popular Nigerian preacher, Pastor Jerry Eze, a mansion reportedly valued at about ₦500 million to mark his birthday.
Obi Cubana made the presentation during a birthday celebration for the preacher, describing Jerry Eze as one of his “most amazing brothers” and commending him for his prayers, support and service to humanity.
According to the businessman, Pastor Jerry Eze had visited the property in January, after which he made a personal commitment to God to complete and present one of the mansions to the preacher before his next birthday.
He said although construction work on the property was still ongoing, he decided to formally present it to the cleric as a birthday gift in appreciation of his ministry and humanitarian efforts.
“I made a silent prayer to God that by your next birthday, I should be able to finish and gift you one. But looking at it, we are still working and hopefully it will be done soon,” Obi Cubana said.
He added, “I make it bold to say today, I am presenting one to you as a birthday gift for the work of God, and for the service of mankind.”
Obi Cubana also praised the preacher for consistently interceding for him and others, noting that Jerry Eze had supported him through prayers both privately and publicly.
While reports have put the value of the mansion at approximately ₦500 million, Obi Cubana did not state an official valuation for the property during his presentation.
He concluded by praying for continued blessings upon the preacher and wishing him a happy birthday.
“May God continue to bless you. Happy birthday my brother,” he said.
