The Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie, has paid a courtesy visit to the Wife of the Anambra State Governor, Dr. Nonye Soludo.
The visit provided an opportunity for both women to exchange views on leadership, education, human development, healthcare, community advancement and the wellbeing of residents.
During the engagement, Dr. Awuzie expressed appreciation to the Anambra First Lady for the warm reception, describing the visit as an opportunity to pay her respects and acknowledge her efforts in promoting healthy living and improving the welfare of families and communities across the state.
Dr. Nonye Soludo is known for her Healthy Living initiative, which focuses on preventive healthcare, proper nutrition, child welfare and environmental hygiene.
The Rector also highlighted the progress recorded at Federal Polytechnic, Oko under her administration, particularly in infrastructure development, academic advancement, staff welfare, student development and institutional transformation.
The meeting ended on a cordial note, with both women expressing mutual appreciation and goodwill.
