Senator Victor Umeh’s representation of Anambra Central Senatorial District has featured several education-focused interventions, including classroom construction, school rehabilitation, provision of learning facilities and scholarship programmes.
Available constituency project records attribute a number of educational infrastructure projects across communities in the district to Senator Umeh’s representation.
The interventions include the construction of classroom blocks and related facilities in communities such as Agulu-Awka, Nibo, Ogwulube in Ebenebe and Abagana.
Some of the projects also included offices, laboratories and toilet facilities, alongside classroom construction.
In Njikoka Local Government Area, projects attributed to the Senator include a six-classroom block at Stella Maris College, Abagana; a six-classroom block at Community Secondary School, Enugwu-Agidi; and another six-classroom block at Community Secondary School, as well as the rehabilitation and reroofing of three blocks at Ide Secondary School, Enugwu-Ukwu, Nawfia.
Earlier interventions also included the construction of a two-classroom block at Igwebuike Primary School, Abagana.
More recently, Senator Umeh delivered and furnished a new three-classroom block at St. Albert the Great College, Agulu.
The facility was equipped with desks, whiteboards and ceiling fans, providing additional learning space for students.
The education interventions are being presented as part of efforts to address infrastructure gaps in schools across Anambra Central and create more conducive learning environments for students and teachers.
Beyond physical infrastructure, Senator Umeh’s education-related interventions have also included scholarship initiatives and legislative efforts focused on expanding access to technical and skills-based education.
The interventions form part of a broader human-capital development agenda attributed to the Senator’s representation of the district.
