Two of European football’s most famous stadiums have been chosen to host the UEFA Champions League final in 2028 and 2029.

The Munich Football Arena will welcome the continent’s biggest club match in 2028, before the final heads to Barcelona’s Camp Nou in 2029.

The selection means football fans will have the chance to experience the Champions League finale at two venues steeped in football history.

Munich’s stadium will take centre stage first in 2028, with Camp Nou following a year later as Barcelona prepares to host Europe’s elite for the 2029 showpiece.

Both venues have previously staged major international and club football occasions, and their selection is expected to add further prestige to the competition.

With two iconic locations now confirmed, attention will turn to which clubs will eventually compete for European glory on the biggest stage in Munich and Barcelona.
