The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced its Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, gantry price by ₦25 per litre, bringing it down from ₦1,350 to ₦1,325 per litre.
The latest adjustment was reported on Monday, September 21, 2026, amid a decline in international crude oil prices. Brent crude fell by more than 3 per cent to around $100.50 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) dropped to about $92.43 per barrel.
The reduction comes just nine days after the refinery increased its petrol gantry price by ₦85, from ₦1,265 to ₦1,350 per litre, effective September 12.
The latest ₦25 reduction brings the refinery’s current gantry price to ₦1,325 per litre, although retail pump prices may vary across locations depending on transportation, depot and other operating costs.
The move comes as crude oil prices ease following recent increases that had pushed up the cost of refined petroleum products in Nigeria.
