The Delta State Government has urged qualified youths across the state to take advantage of the ongoing Nigerian Air Force, NAF, 2026 recruitment exercise.

The call was made through the State Awareness Creation Committee on Youth Enlistment into the Military and Paramilitary Services.

The Director-General, Delta State Bureau for Orientation and Communications, Dr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, urged qualified youths, parents, guardians and youth organisations to ensure eligible candidates apply before the October 14, 2026 deadline.

The recruitment is for the Basic Military Training Course, BMTC 47/2026, covering Tradesmen/Women and Non-Tradesmen/Women categories.

Applicants for the Non-Tradesmen/Women category must be aged 18 to 22, while Tradesmen/Women applicants must be between 18 and 25 years. Candidates must also meet the required educational and physical standards, including minimum height requirements.

Oghenesivbe advised applicants to study the guidelines carefully and submit accurate information and documents through the official NAF recruitment portal.

He also warned against fraudsters and agents demanding payment or promising to influence the process, stressing that the recruitment exercise is free.
