United Kingdom-based Nigerian doctor, Tijion Esho, has had his medical licences revoked after a damning verdict found him guilty of offering free Botox injections in exchange for sexual favors, as reported by Telegraph.

Dr. Esho, known for his expertise in cosmetic surgery and frequent appearances on popular TV shows like ITV’s This Morning and BBC’s Morning Live, faced a tribunal for his misconduct.

During the tribunal, Dr. Esho admitted to an improper emotional relationship with a woman identified as Patient A, with whom he exchanged inappropriate sexual messages on Instagram.

Despite denying physical contact, the tribunal concluded that he engaged in sexual intercourse with Patient A and provided free Botox injections.

The tribunal also uncovered instances where Dr. Esho made inappropriate remarks and allowed sexual encounters during consultations, further demonstrating his misconduct.

As a result, the tribunal deemed Dr. Esho unfit to practice medicine and ordered the removal of his name from the medical register.

The comprehensive reasons for this decision will be released in the coming week.

Among the damning evidence presented were sexually suggestive messages exchanged between Dr. Esho and Patient A over a span of several years.

These messages, filled with innuendos and promises, underscored the unethical nature of their relationship.

The tribunal found Dr. Esho’s conduct to be sexually motivated, despite not considering Patient A vulnerable due to her profession.

Botox injections, commonly used for cosmetic purposes to reduce wrinkles, also have medical applications for conditions like migraines and overactive bladder.

However, Dr. Esho’s misuse of this treatment for personal gain has tarnished his reputation and led to the loss of his medical licenses.
