A Kano State High Court has mandated the Commissioner of Police to immediately evict the 15th Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, and assume control of the Emir’s palace.
The court further issued an injunction prohibiting Bayero and four other individuals from parading themselves as Emirs.
The other four affected are Nasiru Ado Bayero (Bichi), Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar II (Karaye), Kabiru Muhammad Inuwa (Rano), and Aliyu Ibrahim Gaya (Gaya).
This court order came as a result of an ex parte motion filed by the applicant’s counsel, Ibrahim Isa Wangida Esq., and was presided over by Justice Amina Adamu Aliyu.
