Actress Angelina Jolie has reportedly sought the help of a leading plastic surgeon to treat her adopted Vietnamese-born son, Pax Thien, after he sustained a scar on his forehead from an Electric-bike accident in July.
According to the Daily Mail, an insider revealed that Jolie consulted some of the best doctors, including a plastic surgeon, to address the scar.
Angie (Angelina Jolie) wanted to make sure Pax did not have a terrible scar on his face so she asked a top plastic surgeon in Los Angeles to look at him and take care of it,” said the source. “She is a very hands-on mother and does whatever she can for her kids. She made the call herself and was there during the consultation.”
This comes after Pax made his first public appearance since the accident, attending the premiere of “Without Blood” at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 8 with his mother, showing the scar on his forehead.
Previously, paparazzi spotted Jolie and Pax in Los Angeles, where Pax was seen with an arm cast and a hat covering his head injury. Reports indicated that Pax was recovering well after his hospitalization.
Pax’s accident occurred on July 29 when he collided with a parked car while riding his electric bike without a helmet, resulting in a head injury. He was rushed to the hospital, spent time in intensive care, and later began recovery and physical therapy.
Jolie remained by her son’s side throughout his hospitalization, and his siblings visited to offer support. Despite efforts by Brad Pitt to reach out, Pax reportedly declined his father’s assistance.
Pax, 20, was abandoned by his biological mother shortly after his birth in Ho Chi Minh City. Then placed in a local orphanage, where he was named Pham Quang Sang, he stayed there until being adopted by Jolie, 49, and Pitt, 61, in 2007.
Pax shares a close bond with his mother, frequently joining her on film sets and helping with her business endeavors.
