Cristiano Ronaldo has declared his ambition to win more titles and reach the remarkable milestone of 1,000 career goals.
The football superstar, widely regarded as one of the greatest players in history, made the statement at the 16th edition of the Globe Soccer Awards, held in Dubai on Sunday.
“I want more titles, and I will reach that number. It is hard to continue to play, but the passion is still high and motivates me to carry on. It does not matter where I play, whether it is in the Middle East or Europe, I always enjoy playing football, to win trophies and to score goals, and you know my goal. I want to win more trophies and to reach that number you all know. I will reach that 1000 for sure if no injuries,” Ronaldo said, signalling his determination to continue competing at the highest level despite an already glittering career.
