Those in attendance include the Chairman of the APC Governors’ Forum and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, alongside the party’s National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda. Several governors were also present, among them Plateau’s Caleb Mutfwang, Kaduna’s Uba Sani, Kebbi’s Mohammed Idris, Ebonyi’s Francis Nwifuru, Sokoto’s Ahmad Aliyu, Kogi’s Ahmed Usman Ododo, Benue’s Hyacinth Alia, Taraba’s Agbu Kefas, Akwa Ibom’s Umo Eno, Ondo’s Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, and Lagos’ Babajide Sanwo-Olu, among others.
The meeting comes against the backdrop of the APC’s recently released timetable for its 2026 ward, local government, state, and zonal congresses, which are expected to culminate in the party’s national convention.
