The Confederation of African Football, CAF, on Wednesday concluded the draw for this year’s U-17 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.
The competition will be played from May 13 to June 2, 2026.
Hosts Morocco are in Group A alongside Ethiopia, Egypt and Tunisia.
Group B will see former champions, Côte d’Ivoire and Cameroon, alongside Uganda and debutants DR Congo.
In Group C, Mali have been drawn against Angola, Mozambique, and Tanzania.
Group D has Senegal, South Africa
Only the top two teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals.
Nigeria will not feature in the tournament for the second consecutive edition.
