An X user,Obiasogu David, has lashed out at Tony Elumelu, the CEO of Heirs Holdings and owner of UBA, for hosting an exclusive year-end party that solely featured celebrities, ignoring the contributions of UBA employees.

In the scathing tweet posted on his X page (formerly Twitter), David highlighted the dedication of UBA employees who toiled throughout the year, generating wealth for Elumelu, only to be excluded from the year-end celebration.

The tweet also cautioned others against sacrificing their well-being for employers who prioritize such exclusivity.

The event in question drew attention for its star-studded guest list, boasting popular celebrities and Afrobeat artists such as Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, and Tiwa Savage.

The discrepancy between the employees’ efforts and their exclusion from the celebratory event sparked criticism, shedding light on the divide between the contributions of the workforce and the exclusive nature of the celebration hosted by the UBA CEO.
