A Federal High Court in Abuja delivered a ruling on Wednesday, ordering the remand of former Minister of Power and Steel, Olu Agunloye, in Kuje Correctional Service.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had arraigned Agunloye over allegations of fraudulent activities linked to the Mambilla Power Project.
Appearing before the Federal High Court in Abuja, Agunloye entered a plea of not guilty to the charges leveled against him.
However, the presiding judge ordered the embattled former minister to be remanded in custody pending the granting of bail.
