Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, has outlined key achievements of his administration, citing major investments in infrastructure, security, education, healthcare and agriculture as evidence of the state’s ongoing transformation.

Speaking on the progress recorded since assuming office, Mbah said his government has constructed over 1,500 kilometres of roads, launched modern transport terminals and CNG buses, and expanded access to quality healthcare through the establishment of functional primary healthcare centres across the state.

The governor also highlighted improvements in security, noting that investments in surveillance technology and emergency response systems have enhanced public safety and restored confidence in economic and social activities.

In the education sector, Mbah pointed to the construction of smart green schools aimed at equipping students with skills for a rapidly evolving world, while ongoing agricultural reforms are helping to boost food production and create economic opportunities in rural communities.

He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering tangible results, revealing that more ambitious projects, including rail transportation initiatives, are in the pipeline as part of efforts to sustain Enugu’s development trajectory.

Political observers say the governor’s performance in office is expected to feature prominently in conversations ahead of the 2027 elections.
