A heartbroken Nigerian woman, Ugochi Ugwuanyi, has marked Father’s Day with an emotional appeal for information about her father, who has been missing since September 23, 2024.
In a post shared on social media, she revealed that her father left home as usual on the day of his disappearance but never returned, despite extensive search efforts by the family.
According to her, all attempts to locate him over the past two years have been unsuccessful, leaving the family in continuous distress and uncertainty about his whereabouts.
She used the Father’s Day occasion to renew public awareness of the case, appealing to members of the public to share information or report sightings that could help in locating him.
Ugochi noted that the family has not confirmed his death, as no remains were found, and continues to hold on to hope that he may still be alive.
The post has since drawn sympathy from social media users, with many expressing support and urging authorities and the public to assist in the search.
