The Anambra State Government is intensifying efforts to transform public service delivery through automation, innovation and technology-driven solutions across Ministries, Departments and Agencies.
The initiative is being driven by the Anambra State ICT Agency as part of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo’s digital governance agenda aimed at creating a faster, more efficient and citizen-focused public service.
As part of the drive, the ICT Agency recently held strategic discussions with the Oasis Management team on expanding automation across government processes and deploying smarter digital solutions to improve service delivery.
The engagement focused on leveraging technology to simplify government operations, reduce bureaucratic bottlenecks and enhance efficiency across MDAs.
The discussions also emphasised the development of digital platforms based on the practical needs of residents, with the goal of ensuring that technology delivers measurable improvements rather than merely replacing manual processes.
The government said increased automation would enable agencies to process requests more efficiently, improve coordination and give residents easier access to essential public services.
The initiative aligns with the Soludo administration’s vision of positioning Anambra as a digitally driven state where technology and innovation are deployed to strengthen governance, boost productivity and improve citizens’ experience with government.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra State ICT Agency, Mr Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata, CFA, has consistently advocated the use of technology to transform public service delivery and build sustainable digital systems.
As the state continues to expand its digital governance ecosystem, the government is expected to deepen investments in automation and innovation towards building a more responsive, accessible and technology-enabled public service.
