The Anambra Patriots have honoured three of their distinguished members recently appointed by Governor Chukwuma Soludo into key positions in the state’s second-term administration, describing the appointments as recognition of competence, integrity and dedicated public service.
The honourees are the Managing Director of the Anambra State ICT Agency, Mr. Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata, who was reappointed; the Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Arc. Okechukwu Ezeobi; and the President of the Anambra Country Club, Chief Ejiamatu Damian Enekwechi.
During a ceremony held in Awka, the Anambra Patriots Coordinators’ Forum presented the appointees with symbolic gifts, including customised acrylic portrait frames, while commending Governor Soludo for recognising proven leadership and excellence.
The forum urged the appointees to justify the confidence reposed in them by sustaining high standards of accountability, professionalism and selfless service in their respective offices.
Responding on behalf of the honourees, Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Arc. Okechukwu Ezeobi, expressed gratitude to God and Governor Soludo for the opportunity to serve, pledging to contribute meaningfully to the state’s development.
Also speaking, the President of the Anambra Country Club, Chief Damian Enekwechi, described the Anambra Patriots as a body of accomplished individuals committed to the progress of the state and the nation.
The Managing Director of the Anambra State ICT Agency, Mr. Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata, reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to advancing digital transformation and deploying technology to improve governance and public service delivery across Anambra State.
The appointees appreciated members of the Anambra Patriots for the honour and pledged to uphold the values of excellence, transparency and accountability while supporting Governor Soludo’s development agenda.
Earlier, the traditional ruler of Umueri and former Chairman of the Anambra Patriots, Igwe Sir Ben Izuchukwu Emeka, commended Governor Soludo for recognising exceptional talent within the organisation and urged the appointees to remain committed to exemplary leadership and quality service to the people of Anambra State.
