Agunaechemba/Udogachi security operatives have reportedly launched a major security operation in Orsumoghu, Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State, as part of ongoing efforts to rid the community of criminal elements and restore lasting peace.
Orsumoghu has been one of the communities most affected by the activities of suspected armed criminals, with repeated attacks reportedly forcing many residents to flee their homes.
During the operation, the security outfit issued a strong warning to suspected criminals believed to be hiding in surrounding forests, urging them to surrender or face decisive action.
The operatives also appealed to Ndi Anambra for moral and financial support to sustain the security campaign and encouraged residents with credible information on criminal activities to report promptly, stressing that public cooperation is essential to achieving lasting peace and security across the state.
