The police confirmed that the area remains peaceful, with residents going about their normal activities, while security personnel continue routine surveillance to maintain public safety.
Reacting to the incident, the Commissioner of Police, , urged residents to disregard the alarm and refrain from sharing unverified information capable of creating unnecessary panic and undermining public confidence in security efforts.
The police boss reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to proactive and intelligence-driven policing, while encouraging members of the public to verify security-related information through official channels and promptly report any suspicious activity to security agencies.
